We are excited to share that we will be returning to Thailand as a family of 5, this coming Summer, mid-June through the beginning of August, 2025. This trip will be like the trip that we took in 2023. Luke will continue serving with the RICD Wheelchair Project team, helping to coordinate community outreach- fitting, customizing, and building wheelchairs to meet the needs of specific individuals, and working alongside the RICD team to serve individuals affected by disability in Southeast Asia. Together as a family we will serve at Missionary Family Retreat; coming together to providing respite and care for families and individuals who are affected by disability. We look forward to serving alongside our ministry partners and dear friends, the Tell Family!

This will be our second visionary trip, as we feel deeply called to serve in Southeast Asia in a longer-term capacity. We covet your prayers as we continue to pray through and discuss the logistics of a longer stay in Thailand. Our 2023 trip opened our eyes to the need for physical therapy services, advocating for disability ministry within local churches, the spreading of the gospel, and the need for furthering the inclusion of and helping those whose daily lives are impacted by disabilities. All people are made in the image of God and therefore deserving of love, friendship, inclusion, and hope in Jesus.

We truly feel God woven into every detail of our sending. Maile first traveled to SE Asia in 2017, planting seeds of connection and love for the people there. The following year, in 2018, we returned to serve together and got engaged, marking the beginning of a shared mission and calling. Now- seven years later- God has brought us full circle; allowing us to return as a family of five (blessed with three children, including our daughter Caroline, who was born on January 6).

We are so thankful for this opportunity. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us financially as we raise the funding needed for the cost of this outreach? The cost of our trip is budgeted to be $20,225. This will cover all our expenses for this trip. (This includes airfare, housing, utilities, in country transportation, outreach expenses, food, etc.) All gifts are tax deductible
