Hope for Girls

Village girls living near Nsaru, Malawi are often at risk for harassments, lack of education, and pregnancies.

Village girls living near Nsaru, Malawi are often at risk for harassments, lack of education, and pregnancies. Because of this, missionaries Rutherford and Tsahai Banda established Elizabeth Hope House. This girls' home is providing safety and protection to 48 girls. This home gives them a safe place where they can live and allows them to stay in school. The home has been built and now the final building is being planned.

The girls at Elizabeth Hope House are being given educational and spiritual mentorship, including English lessons. The girls range from 13 to 21, and each and every one of them is being given the chance for a future they didn't have before. Please pray for these girls as they move forward, that they will excel in school and their hearts will be open to what they learn, both in school and about the hope they have in Christ!

If you would like to be a part of providing school uniforms for these girls or completing the last building, go to this year's Gift Catalog and choose "Hope for At Risk Girls."
