Overview


Responsibilities: As Warehouse Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Warehouse Manager and General Manager, acquiring valuable knowledge and skills to eventually assume the responsibilities of a Warehouse Manager.

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager and General Manager in daily tasks and ensure the team remains aligned with established goals and objectives.

  • Familiarize yourself with warehouse management tasks, duties, and best practices, preparing for future progression into the role of Warehouse Manager.

  • Oversee scheduling, project planning, coordination, and preparations for upcoming events, ensuring seamless operations.

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities within the warehouse, maintaining overall organization and structure.

  • Contribute ideas and perspectives to enhance day-to-day operations and achieve overarching goals.

  • Assume the role of Warehouse Manager in their absence, including task delegation and ensuring daily objectives are met.

  • Play a central role in the Wheelchair Project's leadership team, providing valuable insights and actively participating in decision-making processes.

  • Train new team members, acquainting them with their responsibilities and fostering a positive work environment.

  • Assist and guide new volunteers, ensuring they receive proper training and carry out their tasks effectively.

  • Maintain a well-stocked and orderly warehouse and workshop, identifying areas for improvement or infrastructure upgrades.

  • Manage the operational budget allocated to warehouse management, utilizing it to fulfill set goals.

  • Access special budgets on a case-by-case basis, including recreational activities for team building.

  • Enjoy a flexible work schedule, with autonomy to manage your time efficiently.

  • Participate in distribution events with preferential status, and have all travel expenses covered.
