FUNDRAISING COMMITMENT: $5,000.00
TOTAL MILES COMMITTED: 26283
FUNDRAISING TOTAL: $2,916.68
Join us from anywhere in the world on May 28 (or any time before then) as we cover 25,000 miles (the circumference of the earth) in prayer and fundraise to support New International global missions.
If you are available on May 28, 2022, we invite you on a nature hike at Crew Flint Pen Strand Trails. We will meet in the Crew Flint Pen Strand Trails main parking lot, 15970 Bonita Beach Rd, Bonita Springs, at 8:30 AM. Together we will walk the 1.5-mile Red Trail. It’s an easy and beautiful trail through old Florida habitat. Pastor Paul and Linda Fahnestock and Trusha Barner, Director of Missions First Presbyterian Church, will organize and lead the hike.
In addition to the hike, or if you are not able to join the nature hike, wherever you are from now until May 28, you may accumulate miles walking, riding a bike, swimming, flying or any other means of moving in our world. Estimate your miles and record your commitment when you join the First Missions team. If you are a couple or a family signing up, we encourage each person to sign up individually.
All funds raised by the First Missions team will go to support the Brazilian Sign Language Bible Translation project. This is the project of Pastor Paul and Linda Fahnestock who are affiliates of New International. Each person who donates $60 or more will receive a Miles for Missions t-shirt, an event packet, prayer guide, and additional goodies from New International. Our First Missions team goal is to raise $5,000 for the Bible translation project.
