Before David Livingston, the great botanist, physician, explorer, abolitionist and missionary died he asked that his heart be removed and buried in Zambia. Tracy Murray, like Dr. Livingstone, understands that once you have been to Zambia a part of your heart will always be there.
Mother of 8, veteran homeschool mom of 30 years, occupational therapist and missionary, Tracy knew that a challenge given by a pastor to ‘Get a burden for a people’ had been realized within days of arriving in Zambia for a survey trip in 2005. She and her family lived and ministered among the Zambian people from 2007-2011.
Her spirtual foundation began at 13 when a friend shared 2 Corinthians 5:17 with her. Knowing that God can make beautiful new creations from junk, assured her in her faith journey, but it's also is the basis for the craftz created in Zambia. Her creativity, craving for adventure, passion for the lost and desire to see people of all ages develop a love for learning and reading makes her the perfect founder for the RecycloCraftz ministry founded in 2008. Her relentless drive keeps her focused on her ministry she is looking forward to returning to Zambia in 2021 to live full time again.
