Myanmar Flood Relief

Massive flooding and landslides have besieged 4 states and regions in Myanmar. More than 210,000 people have been displaced

Massive flooding and landslides have besieged 12 of the 14 states and regions in Myanmar. More than 210,000 people have been displaced by these events and dozens have lost their lives. Our workers on the field are working to provide relief and also planning for development after the time of crisis has passed. More than 1 million acres of farmland have been hit. some under 10 feet of water or more. The rice crop on which millions depend for their food has been destroyed.

We are currently working with our partners in Chin State to help provide cooking, food, and construction of new toilets at a rescue camp that is housing around 300 people displaced by the floods, along with providing relief in areas near them.

In the months to come, our local partners will be working to provide business training to those that have lost everything in the Chin State in Myanmar as well. This provides not only much needed relief, but for long-term development in these hard hit areas.

Please consider partnering to transform the lives of many who have lost everything in Myanmar.

“And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward." – Matthew 10:42
