Since 2015
Joyce joined New Mission Systems International in 2008 when God called her to use her administrative skills and her passion for prayer in our headquarters. Her heart for missions began in her teen years as she was introduced to various missionaries at her church and she began to pray for them. Her first short-term mission project was in 2006 and this launched her to serve on the Mission Board of her church for five years. Through her job in banking and business education classes online, she gained skills in administration and customer service.
Serving and supporting our field missionaries, Joyce uses her calling and gifts in our Human Resources department as an Operations Specialist, which gives her access to new affiliates giving them a warm welcome as they prepare for orientation. As Office Manager, she seeks to keep the office running smoothly via volunteers, equipment maintenance, and supply orders while also acting as our IT Liaison.
Joyce enjoys reading the newsletters of our affiliates to keep up with their ministries and to be able to pray effectively for them. Prayer is a natural outflow of Joyce's relationship with God. She loves spending time at the feet of Jesus giving herself time to "be" so that what she does is a natural outflow of who she is in Christ. She participates in several prayer groups and has led several prayer appointments using the Steps to Freedom in Christ by Neil Anderson.
Joyce has two adult sons and resides in Cape Coral, FL along with her husband Ron.
