Martin is a pastor serving in his native home of Haiti. In 1998, Martin met former New International president, Phil Hudson, in Port-au-Prince, serving as his interpreter. The next year, Phil took a team again to Haiti, and Martin made himself available for the team. Martin then joined New International in February 2004. Martin married Jacquemise in February 1996, and they have five children: Monica, Jephthe, Caleb, Debora and Esther.
After graduating from Bible school in 1997, Martin, Jacquemise and three others started Agape Evangelical Church. This was the groundwork for Agape Victory Churches of Haiti, a ministry dedicated to planting churches all over Haiti through agape love. AVCH is made up of 10 churches located all over the country, one orphanage, four schools and a medical/dental mobile clinic. This clinic is being taken to places to offer free medical/dental check up to especially the disadvantaged people. In January 2013, Martin started an orphanage, Loving Hearts Children's Home. After the earthquake that has devastated the country and left many children orphans, Martin and Jacquemise decided to step up in faith to start the children's home with 32 children.
