Bill serves as the Director of Recruitment, and works with people interested in career missions. For several years he has enjoyed connecting students with people and opportunities, and loves talking to them about calling. The theology of calling fits the question New International loves to ask, 'What is God calling you to do"?
Bill connects with people that are interested in mission work, helping them find their place of calling by mentoring them along the way with the typical questions and concerns one has about being a missionary. He has a pastor's heart with a genuine love and concern for people. Bill has a passion to see people live out their calling, serving in the area that God has gifted them to work in.
Bill grew up in Northeastern Pennsylvania, graduated from Johnson University, and has served in Northern Indiana, Northern Virginia, New Zealand, Pennsylvania, and Southern Indiana. He has worked in vocational ministry for over 30 years. He spent the first eleven years serving in youth ministry, and worked in campus ministry at Indiana Unversity for 23 years before joining New International. For his last three-years of youth ministry, Bill was part of a church plant in Auckland, New Zealand. He has served for several years as a board member with South Pacific Christian Fellowship and New International. Besides working in New Zealand, Bill has been blessed to experience short-term mission work in Mexico, Ukraine, Honduras, and Uganda. He has a heart for the nations and loves every opportunity to experience God's Kingdom throughout the world.
Bill has been married to his wife Rebecca for over 20 years, they went on their first date after returning from a mission trip to Mexico. Bill and Rebecca have two teenage children, Charlie and Emma, and they live in Bloomington, IN. He is thankful for God's blessing and the opportunity of having a wife who is supportive of God's call on his life.
